Stop Now And Pray for Nono (pictured). Nono is a beautiful 15 year old girl who attends our orphan support group. After support group on Friday she went home only to find several violent drunk men there. They beat her out of the home and told her never to return again. Responding in desperation, she drank a mixture of cleaning fluid and paraffin heating oil. She was rushed to a nearby clinic where they were able to pump her stomach. She was able to be with Mama Elizabeth—one our Staff in Philippi. Praise God that the drunk men did not take advantage of her otherwise. And thank God that she knew she could find help and safety in Elizabeth. Please pray with us for Nono. She is obviously in a lot of physical and emotional pain. Pray also that God would grant us and the Church leaders in Philippi wisdom as we desire her future safety. We would love to see her welcomed into a loving foster home—if such exists.
