Our Pad!

We've got an appartment! And it only gets better. It's exactly 1 km from the Wadley's home (ergo, the BHI office). The street has a magnificent view of the Stellenbosch mountains. It has operated as a Bed & Breakfast, so it comes fully furnished and with a sweet bathroom. And our landlady is the big cheese for the Stellenbosch Flemish Society... When we first saw it we fell in love with it, but tried not to get too excited as she was asking more than we can afford. But after explaining what we're doing here, and reasuring her that we wouldn't be stocking any firearms or exotic reptiles, (only joking) she said that she would talk with her husband to see if they wouldn't be willing to lower their price. She called us back just this weekend and said that we could have it. And also that we could move in this week!! (as soon as the man from Tazmania moves out). It's got a small brick patio out back where we are excited to enjoy the small garden once the weather warms up a bit. (And I'm pumped to get the grill--more properly said, a braai--fired up!) Answers to prayers never verbalized, but certainly desires of our hearts.

Anywho, hopefully we can borrow a digital camera later this week when we move in and we can post some pictures of our new pad. You are all welcome for a great cup of Rooibos tea and some buttermilk Rusks. Cheers.
