Mr. Black, Zacharias made no such claim that wiping out AIDS would wipe out death, he just said if we, as the church of Jesus Christ rise to the challenge that AIDS presents it would be the greatest apologetic to our faith.
While I don't necessarily totally agree with Zacharias, in that I believe there is a danger in seeing anything but the cross and the empty tomb as the basis of our faith and witness, I appreciate his sentiments and his challenge to Christians to take this issue on.
